A good magazine or newspaper article always includes the 5 W's (who, what, when, where, why). When writing about your news article, be sure to include the following:
- Magazine or Newspaper Title:
- Article Headline (title):
- By line (author's name):
- Page number where the article can be found:
Answer these questions in complete sentences or paragraphs as needed:
- Who is the article about?
- What activities or event is the article about?
- Where does it take place?
- When does it take place?
- Why did you choose this article? (Do not just say, "Because it was interesting.")
