December Book Report

Genre: Modern Realistic Fiction

*Modern realistic fiction means the story is about something that could really happen or have happened within the lifetime of the reader, but is not a factual account of something that really happened. (No magic or imaginary creatures allowed!)

Directions:

  1. Choose a modern realistic fiction book that is at your reading level. A variety of average fifth grade reading level books are listed at the bottom of this page. If you are reading above the fifth grade reading level, try a book from the Challenge list. If you are reading below the fifth grade reading level, try a book from the Easy list.
  2. Read the book on your own.
  3. Create a Book Commercial and present it to a group of people.
